The product is a water-based cross-linking agent for fracturing fluid used for oil well of 40 ~ 130℃ and prepared from galactose-mannan.  It is characteristic of wide application temperature, good resistance to high temperature and shearing, easy gel-break, and delaying of cross-linking. The main ingredient is organic boron compound, with similar cross-linking principle as borax.

10123 Wetting Reversal Agent

In the oil and gas well operation, with the addition of working solution, the formation near the wellbore tends to change into strong oil-wet, reducing oil phase permeability and increasing water phase permeability and water saturation. It was proved from experiment if water saturation increased from 20% to 35%, the relative permeability of oil will decrease from 90% to 30%.  Injecting a strong hydrophilic surfactant with low interfacial tension into formation can change the formation from oil wet to water-wet; therefore improve oil-phase permeability. Low interfacial tension is favorable for the flow of crude oil with high viscosity, reduces the permeability of water phase, decrease the occupied volume (namely saturation) of flow space, remove water lock effect of formation, and increase the crude oil production.

The wet reversal agent is mainly used for oil and gas well operation of low permeability.

3. Uses

In the operation, it can be added before or in the working fluid such as flushing fluid or sand carrying fluid.  It can also be add into the well after working fluid. Typical application concentration is about 6%.
