By PDS process with one or two step
desulfurizing equipments, H2S, HCN and organic sulfur (RSH,COS,CS2)can
be removed simultaneously in a fast speed and high efficiency. The removing
efficiency is 95.0-99.9%,
94-97% and over 50% for H2S, HCN
and organic sulfur respectively. In
which, HCN is translated into (NH4)2CO3.PDS
method has no limits for the sort, pressure and constituents of various gases.
In normal condition, it is easy to reach to the purification standard for any
gas.
In PDS
process, there are no waste liquid discharging, since Na2SO4 is always not created and the accumulation of Na2S2O3 and NaSCN can be controlled to a very low level by controlling a suitable
technology condition. This method make gas desulfurization become a nontoxic
and clean process and have excellent environment effect.
The large particles of sulfur were created
and separated easily in the regeneration (oxidation) equipment with PDS
process.
Desulfurizing solution was clear because very
low content of folating sulfur contained. In particular, PDS process has the
function of cleaning sulfur that had been stopped in the desulfurization tower.
The cost of catalyst of PDS process is only
50-80% of that of Stratford (ADA) method or tannin extract method, the
consumption of alkali is same compared with the last two methods.
The
successful development of PDS desulfurizing technology has laid a technical foundation
firmly for the use of high sulfur coal, oil and natural gas in world.
1/The correct concentration of PDS solution should be 30ppm
2/The Alkali concentration should be 0.3-0.6N. However, your solution
mixed with NH3·H2O,and the correct concentration of should NH3·H2O>8g/L;
3/The concentration of catalyst accelerators should be 0.2-0.4g/L or less
than 200ppm if you adopt Tannin extract as catalyst accelerators.
4/The best operating temperature for both desulfurization and regeneration
processes is between 30℃ to 35℃, and the temperature
of gas and solution should be 30℃ to 32℃.
5/ The best PH value is from 9.0 to 9.5.
