Well block remover (VII) is a new type of block remover mainly used for treating contamination in formation with carbonate content more than 15%. It forms a tight and tough film on the surface of carbonate therefore prevents its further reaction with acid for the purpose of protecting the skeleton of formation. At the same time, it achieves the purpose of removing plugging by slowly and uniformly reacting with clay.
1. Typical physical properties /Technical data
(1)Appearance: bright brown liquid;
(2)Density:1.12~1.15g/cm3;
(3)Surface tension:30~35x10-6mN/m;
(4)Corrosion rate: less than 10g/m2·h at 90℃;
(5)Reaction with calcium component: slow down 10-20 times and no obvious precipitate.
(6)Reaction with clay: 2-3 times slower than mud acid with similar final dissolving rate.
2. Uses
Dilution the concentrate with water at the ratio 1:4 to 1:6 before use. Shut in the well and reaction 2 ~ 3 hours.
3. Dosage
Every meters reservoir 2 m3 (perforation penetration).
